Best way to install Python 2.7 wide build on Mac OS X

Best way to install Python 2.7 wide build on Mac OS X

I need to install a Python wide build on a Mac (USC-4.) Is it possible to
do this with a package manager (e.g. homebrew) or is the only way to
compile from source with --enable-unicode=ucs4?
